Kid's Christmas Party

On Sunday, December 19th at 5pm, the kids will be having a Christmas party at the Lewis home! This will be at the same time the adults are having their party at the Greenberg home, so no one will be needing a babysitter. We are all looking forward to a great night! Adult Christmas Party

Children's Christmas Program

This year's Children's Christmas Program will be performed during the worship service on Sunday, December 12th. Any children wishing to be part of the program are asked to attend a dress rehearsal on Sunday, December 5th at 11:15am (after the worship service).

Brandon Choral Society Presents "Messiah"

Come watch Amy Wood and Becky Warren perform in G.F. Handel's "Messiah" presented by the Brandon Choral Society. The performance is at 3pm on December 12th at Stephen Catholic Church: 5049 Bell Shoals Rd, Valrico. Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 advance purchase (call 813-685-9641). Children 12 and under are free.

Ladies' Ministry - 12 Days Out with God - The Barn in Lake Alfred

This Saturday, the Ladies' 12 Days Out with God study group will travel to The Barn in Lake Alfred for some Christmas shopping! (This corresponds with Chapter 8 in our book.) We are meeting at 9am at Kids 'R' Kids, and the drive will be about one hour. Please contact Amy at amylw1114@verizon.net with any questions or if you are able to drive.

Veteran's Parade / BBQ Picnic

Invite your family and friends to come on out Saturday, November 13th! We will be having a BBQ picnic right after the Ruskin Veteran's Day Parade! The parade starts at 11am, and the picnic will begin at about noon (when the parade has passed) behind the Ruskin Chamber of Commerce. Address: 315 S US Highway 41, Ruskin. We can't wait to see everyone there for burgers, hot dogs, chicken, games, desserts and more!

Mark your calendar for next Sunday, October 24th, for brunch following the worship service! Bring your favorite dish to share, and join us for food and fellowship! (Worship service begins at 10:15 am at Kids R Kids.)

All Aboard Class

Christ Community Church is offering a class on Sunday mornings designed to explain who and what our church is all about. The class is divided into two sessions of about one hour each. We will meet Sunday, October 17th and October 24th at 9 am. This is the first step in becoming a member and getting more connected with Christ Community. Please let Pastor Charlie if you are in need of child care during the class sessions.

Ladies Ministry ~ 12 Days Out with God

Saturday, October 16th at 9am, the Ladies Ministry will be meeting at Kids R Kids for the October Twelve Days Out with God trip. The ladies will be visiting the USF Botanical Gardens, and the cost is $5 per person. Contact Amy at 813-924-1006 for more details. The ladies have been having a wonderful time with this study and hope you can join them!

Ladies' Fall Small Groups

This Fall, the Ladies will be studying the Book of Galations in small groups. There will be a Thursday morning group and a Thursday evening group to accomodate everyone's busy schedule!

Friday Morning Men's Group

Starting October 1st, the men will be meeting every Friday morning at 7am to study the Book of Ephisians. They will be meeting at the Panera Bread in Riverview, at the intersection of Big Bend and 301. Call Pastor Charlie at 813-767-6994 with any questions.

Ladies' Ministry - 12 Days Out with God

The Women's Ministry is enjoying their new study, 12 days Out with God. On the 3rd Saturday of each month, they head out on a trip that correlates with their Bible study. Last month they went on a road/railway trip, and this month they set out to the new Tampa Art Museum. Join the Ladies on September 18th for the next exciting trip! We would like to welcome our new worship leader Paul!! He is a talented musician with a lots of experience, but more importantly a willful spirit to lead and sing God's praises. It is a true blessing to have him. Welcome and welcome Paul.

Easter Sunrise Service

Join us Sunday, April 4th, at the beautiful Little Harbor Resort in Ruskin as we worship the Resurrection of our Lord at sunrise! We will begin at 7am (coffee will be provided!) near the Captain's Quarters building. (This is across the street from the main restaurant, on the canal.)
Please bring your own chairs.

We will also have our 10:15 worship service that morning at Kids R' Kids.

Little Harbor welcomes you to attend their breakfast buffet beginning at 8am for only $8.95 per person.

ALL ABOARD !!!!

Christ Community Church is offering a class on Sunday mornings designed to explain who and what this church is all about. This class is divided into three one hour sessions. We will meet at 9:00 am on Feb. 28th , March 7th and March 14th. There will be child care provided for the children. This is the first step towards becoming a member and getting more connected at Christ Community.

Congregational Meeting

On February 21st after the worship service there will be a short informative meeting to update people on several key areas of the church. Please plan to stay for a few minutes after the worship service to receive these updates.

Woman's Retreat

The Woman's Retreat is coming up and this will be the third year that some of the ladies from our church will be going. If you have interest in going or would just like more information please feel free to contact Amy Wood at amylw1114@verizon.net.

Progressive Dinner

A few months ago we had a progressive dinner and it was a blast! Since then everyone has been asking when we will be doing the next one and we have now picked a date. It will be on Saturday March 6th. We have the first course to be held at the Mays home, the main course to be hosted by McCullums, that leaves the last course available if anyone is interested in hosting that course or would just like more information on the progressive dinner please contact Sandi Bills at sbills4@gmail.com

The Car Wash must go on

We plan to hold the Car Wash til the rain arrives. So come out early, we'll through some soap on it and let the rain rinse it off :D

Free Car Wash

Haiti Relief

Last Sunday, we spoke about the tragedy in Haiti. If you would like to donate to the relief effort but are unsure about where to do it or that the funds will be used correctly, we have two ministries that are currently in Haiti and we know are stretching every penny to the max.
